Description
Home Farmhouse is a model farmhouse built in 1861. It is constructed of gault brick and features slate roofs. The building has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The symmetrical facade consists of three bays, with the central bay projecting forward beneath a cross gable. Pilaster strips with stepped capitals define the central bay and its returns. The ground floor has a half-glazed door at the center, and the windows are two-light Gothic Y tracery casements with glazing bars, set under keyed arches. The gabled roof includes a central cross gable, and all gable ends are adorned with pierced bargeboards shaped like double waves. There are two symmetrical ridge stacks with double octagonal flues, and each gable head features a raised letter "H" above a string course.
