MARHAM SHOULDHAM ROAD Home Farmhouse

Model farmhouse. 1861. Gault brick with slate roofs. T plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade in 3 bays, the central bay broken forward beneath cross gable. Pilaster strips with stepped capitals define central bay and clasp returns. Half glazed door to ground floor centre. Windows are 2-light Gothic Y tracery casements with glazing bars under keyed arches. Gabled roof with central cross gable. All gable ends with pierced bargeboards in form of double wave. Pair of symmetrical ridge stacks with double octagonal flues. Gable heads all with raised letter H above string course.
