Description

North Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1843. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped slate roof with two stacks at the rear. The building has two storeys and a basement, with three symmetrical bays. On the first floor, there are three sixteen-paned hung sash windows set in cambered brick arches, while the ground floor has two similar windows with flush-panelled shutters. The main entrance is highlighted by a plain pilastered door case, which is accessed by stone steps. This entrance includes a patterned rectangular fanlight above a six-panelled door. Inside, there is a fine open string staircase along with other original details.
