Description

Skatchbow Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has plastered and painted brick, topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey with an attic and features a three-unit plan. The gable elevation faces east and includes two horizontal sliding sash windows. The main entrance is located in a modern porch on the north side. There is a dormer window and a local brick ridge stack. Inside, the cottage has exposed timber frames and a wall made of clunch barn, which is now part of the building.
