Description

Durham Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber frame with rough cast render and a half hipped thatched mansard roof. The building has a gault brick ridge stack and painted brick foundations. It is one storey with an attic and follows an original three-unit plan. The cottage has a four-panelled door on the right side, a half-glazed door, and a shop window on the left side. There is one ground floor horizontal sliding sash window, one hung sash window, and one horizontal sliding sash dormer window.
