Description
Kirkhall Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central door is set in a moulded case and is topped by a flat hood. There is one sash window on each side of the door and three sash windows on the first floor, all of which have glazing bars and are adorned with rendered skewback arches. At the rear, there are two symmetrical stacks on the roof slope. One bay returns with a similar design. The original house, a mid-18th century rendered cross wing, is located at the rear and has a gabled pantiled roof, with three 18th century casements on the first floor.
