Description
This is a dovecote located 320 meters east of the Church of St. Edmund, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a circular plan, rising two stories. The south side has double doors with an overlight above, and there is a blocked arched door on the east side, along with a blocked window above it. On the first floor, there is a casement window on the west side, set beneath a segmental arch. The eaves cornice has a saw tooth design, and the roof is conical in shape. Inside, there are nesting boxes on both floors, and access to the upper floor is via ladder stairs. The roof structure consists of principals and one tier of butt purlins, with an open central hole where a lantern was originally fitted.
