Description
This dovecote, located approximately 85 meters south of High Street and 100 meters northwest of the Church of St. Editha, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a string course, a regular coursed sandstone plinth, and a moulded stone cornice. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has a small square louvred wood lantern. The entrance has a late 20th-century plank door with louvres above, set within a brick flat arch that includes a keystone. The interior has not been inspected.
