Description

The dovecote located about 120 meters east-southeast of Goswold Hall dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers in an irregular English bond. At the time of inspection, the dovecote was roofless and has a small rectangular shape. The front features a central doorway and cogged eaves. The gabled ends are shaped with moulded kneelers on the lower convex curves, steps leading to the upper concave curves, and pointed apices. There is a small opening on the left end, and brick cots remain inside.
