Description

Rose Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It has a timber frame that is cement rendered and features a thatched roof. The building consists of two cells and has one storey plus an attic. There is a central entrance with a part-glazed architraved door. The windows are 20th-century casements with two lights and hoodboards, and there are two gabled dormers. An external red brick stack with multiple offsets is located at the left end, built out to the front for an oven, with an attic light at the rear. There is an added external stack at the right end, positioned at the entrance to the rear. A 20th-century lean-to is present at the rear right. The interior has not been inspected.
