Description
Truss Farm House is a house that was later divided into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and was altered in the 19th century. The house has a timber frame that is plastered and features a hipped thatched roof. It consists of three cells, which may have been partly open originally, and has one storey with an attic.
On the front, there are two half-glazed doors located to the left of centre and at the far right. To the centre and right, there are nine-pane part-opening metal frame casements, while to the left, there is a two-light glazing bar casement, all of which have hoodboards. There are two two-light dormers on the right and centre of the roof. A cross axial ridge stack, which has been rebuilt, is situated to the right of centre.
In the left end attic, there is a three-light casement, and there is a weatherboarded and pantiled lean-to outshut extending to the rear with a hipped roof. The right end attic features a two-light casement. At the rear, there is a two-light casement and a small 20th-century flat-roofed addition. The interior has not been inspected.
