Description

This dovecote, located approximately 50 meters east of Church Farmhouse, dates from around 1761. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain-tiled roof with four gablets that have moulded brick coping. The dovecote has a square plan and stands three storeys tall. The south side showcases dressed sandstone with two tripartite lunette windows on the first and second storeys, along with a doorway at the ground floor that has a double recessed segmental head. The east side includes an oculus at the head, while the north side is blind. There are no nesting boxes remaining inside the structure.
