Description

The wall located east of the southeast corner of the nave of the Church of St. Editha is likely from the 11th century and medieval period, with some later alterations. It is constructed of regular coursed sandstone, and the lower part of the wall is battered. The wall stands approximately 2.5 metres high and stretches about 10 metres long. There is a section that runs south, measuring around 4 metres long, which features a 13th-century chamfered doorway.
