Description
The stable block at Oxburgh Hall is a mid-18th century structure built of brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features five bays, with the central bay projecting forward beneath a pediment. In the centre bay, there are segmental-headed double doors and an oculus in the pediment. On either side of the central bay, there is one round-headed window and one doorway, while the first floor has four Diocletian windows. The roof is hipped, and the first floor was designed as a granary, supported by a framework of tie beams, collars, and clasping purlins.
