Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 30 metres south-east of Church Farmhouse, likely built around 1770. It is constructed from roughly-coursed ironstone rubble, featuring brick strings and dressings, with re-used ashlar blocks for the lower quoins and a pantile roof. The dovecote has a square plan and stands two storeys high with a single bay. The east front displays quoins, a two-course band at the first floor, and a plank door on the first floor, along with an adjoining boarded-up hatch beneath a hipped roof topped with a 20th-century weather-vane. The right side has a ground floor door and a blocked opening above.
