Description

The wall and gates to the almshouses are located on the south side of Gaywood Road in King's Lynn. They date back to the 17th century and have been rebuilt in several areas over time. In 1963, the entrance side was lowered. The structure features square section piers in the center of the north run that support double wrought-iron gates. The walls slope down from the piers to the left and right, and they extend south from the ends of the front wall to meet the corners of the almshouse block.
