Description

The statue of King Edward VII is located at King Edward VII High School and was created in 1906 by William Colton. It is made of bronze and stands on a stone pedestal. The statue features an idealized seated figure of the king in regal costume. Two cherubs are depicted hovering over the back of the throne, holding a crown intended for the king, although they appear to hesitate as he is already wearing a hat.
