Pair of shops. Late C17, rebuilt early C19. Red brick under roofs of pantiles and interlocking tiles. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Pair of parallel ranges, the rear one added later. Late C19 plate-glass shop front to No.11 with reeded side pilasters under consoles and a recessed central entrance. No.12 has a similar shop front but with a bowed display window. Two 9/9 unhorned sashes to first floor, recessed and set within hidden boxes. Gauged skewback arches. 2 similar 6/6 sashes to second floor. Modillion eaves cornice. Mansard roofs. The rear has a 4-storey cross-wing raised in early C19 from a 2-storey wing. Mansard roof. INTERIOR: late C17 bridging beams and wall plate to first floor with sunk-quadrant mouldings and tongue stops. Winder staircase to attic. Ground floors plain and altered.
