No. 34 Market Row is a shop built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a pantiled roof. It stands three storeys high and features a two-window range. The shop front retains elements from the 19th century, while the glazing has been updated in the 20th century. The first floor has two projecting window bays fitted with 20th-century casements, and the second floor has two 20th-century 6/6 unhorned sashes. The building is topped with a gabled roof and has a modillion eaves cornice.

On the east side, there is a six-panelled door with a plain three-paned overlight, supported by an open pediment on simple consoles, and a 20th-century 6/6 sash window above. At the rear, there is a hipped cross-wing with a south end wall that was rebuilt in 1990. Inside, there is a closed string staircase featuring turned balusters and newel posts, along with an elaborately ramped handrail. The building is included for its group value, although the attached warehouse range at the rear is not included in this listing.
