Hall Farm House And Outbuildings

Hall Farm House and its outbuildings represent an early 19th-century farmstead constructed primarily of brick, with some areas limewashed. The main farmhouse is a two-storey, L-shaped building with a hip slate roof, featuring a central flat section, while the outbuildings have pantiled (black glazed) roofs. The front of the farmhouse has three bays, with three- and four-light casement windows featuring segmental heads. A half-glazed front door is sheltered by a gabled porch supported on octagonal timber columns. The eaves are detailed with moulded brick modillions, and the end stacks feature twin octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases.

To the east of the farmhouse is a single-storey range of outbuildings that culminates in a three-storey granary block with a pyramidal roof and moulded brick modillion eaves. A doorway leading to the stairway is set high in the west wall of the granary. The roof of the single-storey range is supported by circular brick columns on the north side, creating a colonnade. A curved brick boundary wall with iron railings defines the south garden. A courtyard to the north is enclosed by red brick and pantiled outbuildings, with one gable dated 1838. The north barn displays stepped gables and incorporates what appears to be older brickwork. A west range also features a colonnade of circular brick columns, though this has since been infilled.
