Description
Hall Farm House and outbuilding is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped 20th-century pantile roof. The building has a dentillated band at the first floor and eaves, with a single ridge and a single side wall stack. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and consists of five bays, with a single-storey, single-bay lean-to addition on the left side, forming an L-plan.
The main west front has a central window flanked by single doors with overlights, and additional single windows beyond. The lean-to addition to the left has a plank door, with three windows above and a single dummy window above each door. The south end of the building features the initials 'J B' made from burnt headers. The rear elevation has a round-headed door to the left and irregular fenestration from the 19th and 20th centuries, with the initials 'W P' in burnt headers above.
To the east, there is a single-storey outbuilding made of brick with a pantile roof. Inside the farmhouse, there is a fireplace with a moulded bressummer, two moulded span beams, and a 19th-century marble fireplace.
