Description
The Pigeoncote at Blyth House is a late 18th-century structure made of brick with a pantile roof. It features dentillated eaves and crowstepped gables, which have been rebuilt. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single bay. The east front has two stable doors with segmental heads, and above these doors is a central segmental-headed opening that contains four tiers of pigeonholes. The south gable has a segmental-headed door above which is another segmental-headed opening that contains three tiers of pigeonholes and a shelf, with wall ties marked "JB." Inside, there are wattle and daub nest boxes. The east side also shows remnants of a Britannia Fire Insurance plaque.
