Description
Stratton Strawless Hall is a country house, now divided into flats, built around 1800. It features colourwashed brick, and the roof is not visible. The building is currently two storeys tall, having had its top storey removed around 1960. The facade consists of six bays, with the central two bays slightly projecting and topped with a pediment. A central entrance loggia has three arched openings supported by Tuscan columns. The windows are sash with glazing bars, although some have been replaced with 20th-century top-hung vents. There is a heraldic device in the pediment, and the flanking wings have been significantly altered and added to in the 20th century.
