Description

Hall Farmhouse and the attached wash house are a farmhouse built in 1751, with alterations and additions from the 19th century and 1957. The building is made of brick and has a plain tile roof. It features double corbelled eaves and coped gables with kneelers, along with two gable stacks and one ridge stack. The structure has two storeys plus attics and consists of five unequal bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads, along with some 20th-century casements.

On the south front, there is a single-storey lean-to addition on the left, which has a single bay and a 20th-century casement. The off-centre 19th-century brick porch has a coped open pediment, a round-headed doorway, and a geometrical overlight. To the left of the porch is one sash window, and to the right are three sashes. Above the porch, there are five sashes, and above that, three 20th-century gabled dormers with sashes. The west gable features a single segmental-headed casement in the attic. A datestone inscribed '1751' is present on the building. The similar east gable has an adjoining single bay wash house, which includes a plank door, a Yorkshire sash, and a single gable stack.
