KNEETON MAIN STREET SK 74 NW (south west side) 1/110 Hall Farmhouse and attached wash- house

Farmhouse. 1751 with C19 alterations and additions, 1957. Brick with plain tile roof. Double corbelled eaves and coped gables with kneelers. 2 gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus attics, 5 unequal bays. Windows are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads and C20 casements. South front has to left, single storey lean-to addition, single bay, with C20 casement. Off-centre C19 brick porch with coped open pediment, round headed doorway and geometrical overlight. To left single, and to right, 3 sashes. Above, 5 sashes. Above again, 3 C20 gabled dormers with sashes. West gable has, above, single segmental headed casement to attic. Datestone inscribed '1751'. Similar east gable has adjoining single bay wash house withplank door, Yorkshire sash, and single gable stack.
