Description

No. 3 Main Street is a mid-19th century cottage built of coursed rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof. It features rebated eaves and an eaves band, along with two gable stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has a square plan with two bays. The windows are 19th-century casements, with those on the ground floor having segmental heads. The west front includes a 20th-century lean-to porch and door on the left, and two casements to the right. Above, there are two additional casements. The north front has a small lean-to rear addition on the left, with a door flanked by single casements. This building is included for its group value only.
