Range Of 3 Houses West Of Tudor Rose Cottage

This is a range of three houses located west of Tudor Rose Cottage in New Buckenham, dating from the 17th century but refronted in brick in the mid-19th century. The houses have timber framed interiors and pantiled gabled roofs. The eastern house is two storeys tall, featuring a door in a reeded case to the left of centre, flanked by one casement window and one sash window, all under rendered skewback arches. There are two sash windows on the first floor, and a dentilled eaves cornice adorns the roof. A ridge stack is located to the west, shared with the adjacent property. The western house in the row includes C.J. Mace (Butchers) and is also two storeys high, displaying 20th-century detailing, including a shop front. Its door is positioned left of centre, with sash windows on both sides and three sash windows on the first floor. A timber eaves cornice and a ridge stack positioned right of centre complete this house.
