Description

These are two houses dating from the early 17th century. The houses are timber-framed with a rendered wattle and daub infill. The front has a pantiled roof, while the rear has corrugated tiles. The houses are one storey in height, with a dormer attic. A door is located to the right of the centre, and a second door is situated in a 19th-century gabled extension to the west. There are three 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor. The roof is gabled with three sloping dormers, each containing 20th-century casement windows. An external chimney stack on the west gable has been rebuilt, as has the ridge stack, which is shared with the adjacent property, Fairview, to the east. The rear of the houses, along with the roof, was entirely replaced in the late 1970s.
