Description

Two houses, now three, were originally built in the early 17th century and subsequently altered in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The brick facades are roughcast, with remnants of timber framing visible. The roof is covered in pantiles, and there are a single ridge stack and a single gable stack. The buildings are two storeys high, with a single window range to the left and a three-window range to the right. Number 66, on the left, has a 20th-century casement window on each floor. A 19th-century plank door is located centrally on the left side. The left gable displays exposed close studding in the gable peak, filled with rendered panels. Number 64, on the right, has a rendered plinth and quoins, along with Gothic-style glazing bar casements. The ground floor casements are larger than those on the first floor. The first floor has a central two-light casement, flanked by single three-light casements. A central Tudor-arched door, set within a moulded surround, is flanked by single three-light casements. A former rear wing, numbered 64A, features a jowled bay post and several pieces of reused timber framing.
