Description

The Lodge is a mid 19th century building that served as the former gate lodge to Ayot House. It is constructed of chequered red brick and features an old tile roof. The building has an L-shape and is composed of one to two storeys. It includes 2-light cast iron latticework casements that have rubbed brick segmental lintels and hood moulds. A large chimney stack is present, which has joined octagonal shafts and moulded caps.
