Description

Mid 19th century gate lodge, raised later in 19th century.

Tudor detailing. Single storey; T-plan, stugged ashlar,

(later work deeper red colour) with polished margins

(rubble-built to rear). Bipartites with lying-pane glazing.

2-bay W flank to roadside, 3 bays to drive with advanced

gable left, door in re-entrant angle. Skews run horizontally

over skewputts; stacks with octagonal flues; finialled

gables; slate roof.

Corniced gatepiers linked by low quadrants.
