Description

The stable block on the east side of Ayot House dates from the early to mid-18th century and was modified in the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate hipped roof. The building has a pedimented portico supported by four thin wooden octagonal columns. The window arrangement consists of two windows, three windows, and two windows, with most being blank and the segmental-headed windows located on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a leaded square clock tower topped with a cupola and a weathervane.
