Description

Stocker's Lock Number 82 is located on the Grand Union Canal in Rickmansworth and dates from the early 19th century. The lock features brick walls topped with ashlar coping and has timber lock gates. It includes bollards, some made of timber and others of iron, which were likely cast in 1896 by the London and Lancashire Engineering Company. This structure is included for its group value, particularly in relation to Stocker's Lock House on Stocker's Farm Road.
