Description

The stable block at Astridge Farm is a 17th-century structure featuring a timber frame with weatherboarding and a plain tile roof. It consists of a single-storey range with five bays. Inside, there are original 17th and 18th-century partitions, along with feed boxes that date from the 18th or 19th century. The building has three stable doors and two early slat ventilators. Additionally, there are small narrow additions from the 18th century at each end of the stable block.
