Description
The stable block located 100 meters north of Manor Farm House dates from the late 18th century and features cart sheds at either end. It is constructed from reused dressed stone, brick, and flint, topped with an old plain tile roof that has medieval-style ridge tiles with combs. The stable block is 1½ storeys high and consists of six bays. There are two stable doors in the second bay from each end, with window openings featuring mullions, all topped with segmental heads. Above the stable doors, there are openings leading to the hay loft. On the left side, there is a two-bay cart shed that projects forward by one bay and has an open front with a half-hipped roof. Inside, it has an aisled queen strut roof made of earlier timbers, featuring cambered ties and curved braces. On the right side, there is a three-bay cart shed that is open to the front and slightly projects forward, also with a half-nipped roof. Inside this shed, there is a three-bay aisled queen strut roof with straight struts and braces.
