Description

Rosebank is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century, with later 18th-century alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with an old plain tiled roof. The cottage originally comprised three bays, with a larger bay added to the left. The front elevation is two storeys and three bays, with a wider fourth bay added. A central doorway, belonging to the original section of the building, has a pent-roofed 20th-century porch. Segmental-headed leaded cross windows are located on each side of the original section, with three 2-light leaded casements above. The left bay slightly projects and features a wide segmental-headed leaded casement, and a 2-light casement above. A continuous roof exhibits toothed eaves. Chimney stacks are present at each end of the original building, and at the left end. A weatherboarded store is located at the right end.
