Description
Bibbsworth Hall Farmhouse is a mid 18th century farmhouse with a timber-framed interior and a red brick casing that may date from the mid 19th century. The building features a hipped plain tile roof and has a five-window range, with one window facing the road. Notable architectural details include a plinth, a floor band, and angled brick eaves. The windows are modern wooden casements from the 20th century. The east elevation showcases a particularly fine mid 18th century doorcase, which consists of four fielded panels and two glazed panels, framed by a moulded wood frame, an architrave surround, carved consoles, a pulvinated frieze, and a pediment.
