Description

Maple Tree Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, with significant alterations made in the mid-18th century, and further changes in the mid-19th century and 20th century. The front elevation is of mid-18th century construction. The farmhouse is built of red brick and has a plain tile roof, featuring two gable stacks. The gables are brick-coped with tumbled coping stones. A flush eaves band was added in the 20th century. A rendered plinth runs along the base of the building. The central doorway has a part-glazed door, a simple doorcase, and a small hood. To either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, with three similar sashes above. The central upper sash is smaller than the others, and all the windows are set within segmental arches. At the rear is a single-story range dating to the early 18th century.
