Description
Mill Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with early 19th century and minor 20th century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain first floor band and a steeply pitched concrete tile roof that is hipped at the eastern corner. The roof has a central brick ridge stack and a brick gable stack on the south side, along with a dentilled eaves band.
The building has two storeys and two bays, with two main facades. The north elevation includes an off-centre segment headed panelled door, which is flanked by segment headed three-light small pane casement windows. Above this door are two similar flat headed windows. The east elevation features an off-centre segment headed doorcase with a 20th century panelled door. To the north of this door are a three-light segment headed casement window, and to the south is a two-light flat headed casement window. Above, there are two flat headed small pane casements, with the southern window being two-light and the northern window being three-light.
Inside, the farmhouse has a large inglenook fireplace in the rear room and a six panelled early 18th century door.
