Description
This small outbuilding, located opposite the gates to Netherseal Old Hall, was originally a smithy and is now used as a store. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring vitrified headers on the street-facing side, and has a plain tile roof with stepped brick copings at the gables. There is a 19th-century gable stack on the east side and a raised eaves band. The structure is single storey and consists of a single bay. The street elevation is blank, while the south elevation includes a flat-headed plank door on the west side and a 2-light casement window on the south side. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
