Description

Lamer Hill Gate is a house dating from the 17th century, originally timber framed and later cased in red brick in the 18th century. The building has an L-shape with 20th-century extensions and features a plain tile hipped roof. It stands two storeys tall, with the original front range displaying four 20th-century leaded casements in their original openings, and the ground floor windows have segmental heads. A central door from the 19th century is also present. Inside, the property has exposed heavy chamfered floor beams and joists. The rear wing features dentilled brick eaves and two 18th-century three-light wood mullioned casements on the first floor.
