Description
Owens Corner is a house dating from around 1840, featuring a long frontage with the left side clad in white weatherboarding and the right side constructed of red brick. The building has a slate roof and stands two storeys tall. On the right side, there are canted sash bay windows positioned on either side of the door, which is framed by a contemporary panelled design with diamond paterae and topped by a flat hood supported on shaped brackets. The right window has been restored, while the left window retains its original wood surrounds. The left side of the house has five windows, which include a mix of sash and fixed panes. There is a small gable on the right side that features a square bracketed oriel. The left end of the house has a tripartite group of windows, with the upper floor showcasing a central canted oriel. A late 19th-century rear extension is also present. The building is included for its group value.
