Description

The main barn at Herons Farm is a 17th-century structure located about 40 meters east of the farmhouse. It features a timber frame with tarred weatherboarding and a red brick base, topped by a plain tile roof. The barn consists of five bays and includes a through passage to the central bay. Inside, there are tie beams supported by straight braces and angled braces connecting to the mid-height purlins. The eastern elevation has three 19th-century glazing-bar ventilators.
