Description

Nos 8 and 9 are a house with a late 18th century front that conceals an earlier timber frame core, possibly from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of vitrified red brick and features dentilled eaves. It has a machine tile roof and stands two storeys high. The front façade includes two late 19th century sash windows set in flush wood frames. The off-centre door has six fielded panels and is surrounded by a moulded wood frame, supported by heavy cut brackets beneath a flat hood. The side elevation has a floor band and two replacement windows.
