Description

No 6 is a house that was originally built as part of a terrace of four cottages in the late 18th century. The exterior features modern rendered brick with dentilled eaves and a weatherboarded gable end facing the road. It has a plain tile roof with two 18th-century ridge stacks. The building has four windows, with those on the ground floor being segmental-headed, and most are fitted with 18th-century two-light wood casements. There are three doors that are now blocked. Inside, the house showcases exposed wall and ceiling beams, with the bearers featuring stop-chamfered ends. The rear gable end reveals exposed framing from the 16th or 17th century, which belonged to an earlier back range that has since been demolished.
