Description

This large barn at Hare's Farm, dating from the 18th century, is timber-framed and consists of six bays, with a slightly later two-bay extension to the east. There is an aisle on the south side featuring a gabled entrance located at the third bay from the west. The roof is covered with red pantiles, while the aisle east of the entrance has a slate roof. Inside, the barn features a queen post truss. The walls are boarded on three sides, and the aisle has red brick walling with Monk and Flemish Garden Wall bands at the lower part of the gable ends.
