Description

This barn, located southwest of Herons Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century and has 18th-century extensions. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a red double Roman tile roof. Originally, the barn was four bays long, with an additional bay added at each end. It features jowled posts, arch-braced tie beams, and a braced side purlin roof.
