Description
Herons Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of painted brick and topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has a square plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-storey wing added in the late 19th century. The south front features a three-window range, with vertical sliding sash windows that include glazing bars. The central door is framed by an original doorcase with fluted pilasters, which has been set forward to create a porch. The eaves cornice is dentilled, and there are red brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is situated on a moated site.
