Description

The stable block at River Farm dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is timber-framed, with sections that are weatherboarded and others that have brick infill. The roof is covered with longstraw thatch and features a clasped side purlin design with queen struts. The building has five bays and includes four stable doors.
