Description
Pear Tree Cottages is a cottage that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century, with a subdivision occurring in the 19th century. The building is timber-framed, plaster rendered, and features a steeply pitched longstraw thatch roof. The upper courses of the ridge stack and the left-hand gable end stack were rebuilt during the subdivision. The original layout was likely a three-bay plan with a lobby entry. The structure has one storey and an attic, with one dormer. There are four windows, all from the 20th century, and two boarded doors.
