Description

Whole Way Cottage is a cottage that may have originally been two separate dwellings. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building is timber-framed, rendered, and has a long straw thatched roof, featuring two grey gault brick ridge stacks. The structure has an L-shaped plan, consisting of a front range and a rear range added in the 20th century. It is one storey high with an attic, and there are two dormer windows. On either side of a single light window, which may have been the location of the original doorway to a lobby entry, there are two casement windows. The current entrance is located in a porch on the right side.
