Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage with a timber-framed structure that is plaster rendered and topped with longstraw thatch. It features an original axial ridge stack and has a three-bay layout with a lobby entry. The cottage includes three dormers, two of which have original leaded light casements with contemporary fastenings. On the ground floor, there are three windows on either side of the doorway to the lobby entry. The door is from the 20th century, but there is another doorway to the right that retains its original vertical boarding.
